05/28/2014 Blessed through and through…and the Book is blue ;)

Talofa family!! (Samoan?)
How are you guys? Hahaha sorry about the lame-sauce title! Hope you’re having a blast at the Young Men Encampment! Haha or whatever it’s called 😉 this week has been so splendid! I’m pretty sure I JUST wrote you guys though, haha so sorry if I forget some stuff, sometimes the weeks blur together..haha but it’s all too much goodness!! Sister Larson and I are learning how to make better goals, based off FAITH and WORK! I’m so glad I have her in my life 🙂 We’ve been running around like crazy!
And yesterday we took out two different sisters from the ward-our ward is the BEST! One just turned 16 and she’s the funnest girl! Lizzy Newbold 🙂 and the Sarah Allred just moved here for the summer with her husband. What a champ! She feels like they moved here so she could do missionary work! Haha so we are putting her to work! How did we get so blessed with this ward?
We’ve been helping a lot of families pack up for their moves…haha but lets not talk about it 😉
Sorry sorry, but I honestly am having blanks on this week!
But we taught the Delucio family again! And Ashley-the 14 year old-accepted a baptismal date for the middle of June!!! So pumped for her 🙂 haha Edgar was like…uhh guys that’s way too fast! Haha we just told him that The Lord prepares people differently 😉 haha but we just gotta get her to church! Her parents work on Sunday so were gonna try and have a Keeping the Sabbath day Holy lesson. But they’re seriously such nice people and have the greatest intentions! Love them!
We taught a woman named Judith this past week and had a SWEET lesson. Sister Larson was bursting with the Spirit and explained to Judith that reading the Book of Mormon is like love-you think you can’t love anyone else any more than you already do, and then your mom has another child and she’s blown away with how much bigger her heart gets. With the Bible, it’s INCREDIBLE and it helps us so much 🙂 but then we read the Book of Mormon and bam! We have so much more love in our hearts and can comprehend and apply even more! It all comes, line upon line, and we just keep growing and learning more! We are never done my friends!! I hope that made sense the way I said it…Sister Larson said it way better…hahaha
I have felt my testimony being tested so much lately. I have felt the waves and winds of Satan tempting me and testing the very truths I have known most of my life. But I have been so grateful for the Redeeming love of our Savior, Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father’s mercy as they have extended to me small moments that help me feel and better understand their love for me, their love for others, and their plan for each of us. What a blessing it is has been. I’m so grateful for this gospel-this “good news” or absolutely fantastic news, as I like to call it 🙂 I know it’s true. I hope you all can feel the grace and the love that our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ have for you. It’s incomprehensible, but it’s amazing to get a glimpse 🙂
I love you all so much!
I pray for you

With so much love,
Sister Smith 🙂

“Love is the very essence of the gospel, and Jesus Christ is our Exemplar.”
